2012 Cochrane Image Auto Body Winter Rally March 10-11
The Western Canada Rally Championship is gearing up for it's opening round of the season, the 2012 Cochrane Image Auto Body Winter Rally. Put on by organizer John Blaber, the first of six events in the region is sure to be action packed!
2011 champion Max Riddle will be back, starting where he left off the previous season fighting for the top podium spot. Longtime front runner (and WCRC champion for three years running from 2008-2010) Hardy Schmitdke has changed gears for the season, switching from running his open class Subaru to a US prepared open class Mitsubishi Evolution 9.
Other quick teams expected to be at the event and vying for a podium spot are the likes of J.C Bourgeois, Graham Bruce, and Johnny Summers (all flying under the Subaru banner). Needless to say, the competition will be intense!
